Project Overview:

The Post Lofts was our $2.6 million historic preservation project at Tru-Built Construction, where we transformed three early 20th-century buildings in downtown Lincoln between 2019 and 2021. We stabilized the 25,000 square foot structures using steel reinforcement and new roofing, created seven modern residential units including six studios and a three-bedroom penthouse, and prepared ground floors for commercial retail. During renovation, we discovered and preserved century-old advertisement murals hidden behind interior walls. We brought all buildings up to current codes, incorporated sustainable features like high-efficiency HVAC and LED lighting, and added rooftop decks with fire pits and grills, delivering upscale living in downtown Lincoln.
